As a Real Estate Investor are you focusing on creating multiple streams of income, both in Real Estate and in other interest areas or niches?

Over the last couple of years several investors have suffered some severe ups and downs due to the changing market.  Many investors have done very well with these changes, however some have encountered some challenges and financial set-backs due to being locked in to a particular way of doing things – or one stream of income.

One thing that I have learned over the last several years is that you can not rely on one source or method for creating income if you want to survive and be successful.  To be financially successful you need to have multiple streams of income so that if one of your sources dries up you have another stream to draw from.

As an investor there are several other sources of income you could create that focus around real estate and real estate investing.  Here are a few to get you started on thinking of streams you could add:

• Broker Private Money Loans
• Refer Lease Option Buyers to other investors
• Broker Real Estate Notes
• Create a Property Management Company and offer these services
• Do Credit Repair
• Offer Short Sale Services
• Purchase Judgments for Pennies on the Dollar
• Offer Financial Planning Services
• Become a Real Estate Consultant
• Assist other Real Estate Investors with Marketing

There are several other streams in the Real Estate niche that you could research and add to your offerings as an investor so that if one of your streams stopped providing an income you would have another stream to plug in it’s place.
