Do you have a horror story to share ???
Jun 6th, 2008 | By admin | Category: Real Estate Investing in GeneralAs a Real Estate Investor New or Old do you have a horror story to share???
Today I wanted to do some thing a little different. We have all heard and many of us have experienced a lot of success in Real Estate investing – this is what keeps us in and draws many new people in on a regular basis. But – today I don’t want to cover the success stories. I want to shed light on the fact that there can be some horror stories as well. I am not doing this to bring doom and gloom to Real Estate Investing, but I am starting this post so that we can share some of the “lessons” that have been learned and inorporate those into our bag of tricks.
I will share some of my horror stories over the next few days, but for starters I will give a few topics that mine have been related to:
- Working with Family
- Failing to Get Everything in Writing
- Not Screening Out of State partners better
- Being to sensitive to life
Please take a minute to post your comments and horror stories and if possible the lesson you learned so that others can learn and grow from your experience.
Have a great week-end
Stefanie
