The other day I shared a video with you that provided a good overview of what Social Networking is and how it works.

Today I want to begin to go a little more in depth into Social Networking, and why you need to be looking at using it in your business.

To begin with, what exactly is the definition of Social Networking? Here are a few definitions that I found online:

As you can see from above Social Networking is really about forming connections with others that share common interest with you.

So why should you pay attention to Social Networking????

There are many reasons that Social Networking is a good thing. One that I see is a way to connect and share ideas with others that share a common interest with you. This can be a great way to learn something new and useful that applies to the field that you are in (for example Real Estate Investing or Network Marketing).

Have you ever heard the saying that your Network is your Net Worth? This is often true and those with large networks often are able to make things happen faster.

By starting to focus on Social Networking you are able to create knowledge of who you are and what you can offer. This will allow you to attract possible joint venture partners to you as well as potential clients.
